Default US Laptops

Are there any problems using a laptop purchased in the USA in the UK?
Are there any problems re power/voltage?
Ebay.com (US Ebay) have Dell Vostro laptops on offer cheaper than in the UK.
I was about to order the Vostro 17 from Dell but I missed the free delivery offer by 1 day! £60 seems a rip off for a delivery charge and there is no provision for picking the PC up yourself.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks.

Hi Smudge,

As far as I know the power supplies that come with Dell laptops are multi-voltage. I took my Inspiron laptop to the US and it worked with no problems. All you would need is a plug converter for US to UK style wall plugs.

Is there a big price difference between Ebay.com and Dell UK? Is there a warranty that comes with the Vostro from Ebay?
