Default 40% off 3 yr support. 15% off total package

Hi,

Thanks to this site, I was able to get a very good deal from Dell.

I bought a Studio 17 (p8600 2.4Ghz, 4gb ram, 250gb hdd(7200rpm), rest std stuff, no upgrades) + wireless mouse + 3yr in home support. All for £620. the original quote was £732. A saving of 15% plus peace of mind for 3 years !!

I missed the chance to make it to £605 because I had already placed an order and found some other agent was offering £605.

While negotiating I found couple of things which I would like to share with others. The coupon code on this site was the starting point, that helped me push for lower price

The surprising thing was they offered me 40% discount for 3yr in home support. Instead of £103, they gave it to me for £60.

If you cant bring the price of laptop deal down further, you can haggle and get the price of support down.

With Easter approaching and credit crunch making people buy less, if you negotiate hard and smart, Dell will give you a deal. Just keep trying with different agent and be persistent.

Happy deal hunting !!
