![]() | Hi there, I'm glad I came across your page, there's some great deals and I'm about to grab one in the next few days. I'm a bit sceptical however, I'm looking at the Studio 15 and Studio XPS 16 laptops and some of the deals are a saving of over 30%... and you know how the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true... Is there some reason for this reduction, are they expecting to replace their line-up soon, or another reason to wait a little longer? Also, if I go for the 15.6" screen, will 1080 resolution be too small, should I just go for 768? Thanks! Matt. |

| Administrator | Hi Matt, Don't be sceptical about the savings, that's just how Dell work. Next week there maybe different configurations with the big savings and the current ones will disappear. And it is January after all! ![]() Regarding a new lineup...who knows? I do know that the Dell Studio XPS 16 and Studio 15 are hugely popular, well built, reliable and capable laptops. Personally I would prefer the higher resolution screens, and I am sure you would too as long as you dont have really bad eyesight. Cheers |

![]() | Thanks Paul! I think I'll go for the 1080. Another question I had was weather to go for i7 720qm or the Core 2 Duo T6600. Can't decide on price vs battery vs performance, while unplugged I'll likely be just browsing the web or programming (with java compiling), maybe a little photoshop / gimp. I'll always be plugged in if gaming or watching a movie I reckon. Any thoughts? Cheers! |
