XPS M1530 configuration questions

I was just configuring my "dream" XPS M1530 on the Dell UK site and two options I've normally not seen on there appeared. I have seen them on the US site, just not the UK one.

For one thing, I was offered a sound card for installation, notably an "Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced HD Audio" and I also had the choice of selecting a "resource cd". I have never been offered these things before. Am I being swindled into thinking this is some sort of 'special offer'- I have revisited the Dell UK site to see if it kept offering these individual items, and they are no longer available on there. The Sound Blaster was charged at an extra £50.

Oh. Finally, I know this is slightly off topic, but is there a big performance difference between the T8100 and the T8300? I will be using this for some gaming (recent/older games ie the sims 2, red alert 3 etc)...?

In the past I have called Dell support after delivery of a system and requested the resource cds. They were normally sent free of charge.
