Spec options for XPS M1530 - Advice Please

My Dell 8600 is a bit tired so time for an upgrade...

It's a while since I spec'd a laptop and just wanted a bit of advice please.

I was looking at the T9300 chip and owndered if it would make much difference to the T8300 (I know it is ony 0.1Ghz difference but the 9300 has a 6MB cache)

Also, my 8600 has a WUXGA 1900x1200 (approx) screen - the XPS screens offer this - is there any benefit in going for the 1440x900 screen instead?

Finally, I can spec the XPS to get a 7,200RPM hard drive rather than a 5,400 - I can't see me needing a 500GB drive so thought I'd get a 250GB for roughly the same money - any thoughts on this?

PS Would have like a [RED] XPS but you can't seem to spec them at the mo only blue or black
