Bought a new Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop

Yea i got it bout a week ago. They stick loads of proggys on it, deleted a few tho. I didnt order the resource cd but i know you can download the drivers but there are 2 many and i dunno which ones to download. Could i still order just the resource cd. it was like £5 plus p&p i aint bothered. Should i email them.

Also i have downloaded Windows MCE what if i formated the laptop and installed that would my warrenty be voided ???

Hi,

If you visit the Dell support website at http://support.euro.dell.com/support...hs1&l=en&s=dhs you can find all of the specific drivers for your system by entering your service tag which can be found on the bottom of your laptop.

If you install a different OS you would not void your warranty.

I rang them up and i found it, i powered laptop on and pressed f2 to go in the bios.
