Power Supply
Hi,
I recently had a failure to boot, no power, on my Inspiron 530S. I figured it was the power supply and Got a new on. However although the PSU internal fan works when in test mode (pin 3&4 short) the processor fan does not and when you connect it all up it does not boot up. Judging from the searchs I have done it seems that the PSU on this model is a general problem. I have had a number of desktops and never had this problem. Any suggestions? otto |
