 |  How noisy is dell XPS 420? Folks, Yesterday I went to Tesco and bought their Medion 6486, high spec machine, however the noise of the fans and the hard disks was so high that my girlfriend can hear it from the kitchen downstairs, the machine sounded like a jumbo jet, so I immediately took it back to tesco. Now, I am debating whether to buy the dell xps 420? The spec look good enough, the only thing is how noisy is this machine? |

| Re: How noisy is dell XPS 420? Hi, I haven't been fortunate enough to see one of these XPS 420 machines for real yet, however I made a search for info about noise and found only positive words like 'dead quiet' and 'near silent'. Would be nice to hear from a XPS 420 owner. |

| I have just purchased an XPS 420. Its an amazing PC! The only noisy thing in it is the hard drive. Apart from that it's super silent especially with the huge cooling system in it.
