i was looking for a cheap desk top last week, the one ive had is abit long in the tooth. So i looked at the dell outlet site and i found a inspiron 530 with a 320gb hd a 2,2ghz processor and 3000mb ram, worked out at £220 with delivery,,,this is cheap right? why was it this price? it seems too cheap for the spec

Sometimes there are very good deals on Dell outlet, you have to be quick as they get snapped up usually. Don't forget to include VAT and delivery on Outlet products (unless you've factored that in already!)
I had an Outlet laptop some years back and it was brand new and in a1 perfect condition, saving me about £120 over the cost of a 'new' laptop... these days Dell often have cheap deals making Outlet look less inviting but that spec you mentioned seems very good indeed... I've had a few Vostro 200's which are pretty much identical to the 530 and very satisfied indeed, considering the lost cost. Do note that the Vostro (small business section) sometimes has very good deals.... often starting at below £200... but offers come and go and haven't been so good in the last few months. |
