Vostro

I have been looking at the Vostro 260 range today it seems to be on its way out as there are only a few options to choose from. Will the 260 range be replaced with say a 270 range or are Dell thinking of ending this range? I hope not as we have purchased several Vostro systems and they have been very good value.

Hi Rev,

I don't think the Vostro 260 is on the way out as it hasn't been out that long really, only since the Intel Sandy Bridge upgrade. But if it is on it's way out it will surely be replaced by a Vostro 270 or similar. The Vostros are very popular.

I think Dell just had a bit of housekeeping with it's evalue codes....
