Dell UK Small Business today released their latest Vostro desktop, the 410.

This new Vostro desktop is meaner and greener than any of the other current Vostro desktops.

The Vostro 410 is reported to save you (the customer) up to 47% in annual energy costs. It is also more expandable than any other Vostro desktop and features the latest quad core Intel processors.

I currently have a dell dimension c521 which i am getting rid of for a faster pc. Yesterday i noticed the deal on this vostro 410, now my main use for a faster pc would be gaming and general web surfing etc. What i would appreciate is some advice on purchasing the vostro and maybe upgrading it to make a decent gaming system. ps..i think the delivery offer ends tommorrow so a quick reply would be nice thanx.

Hi, I am hoping someone else can give you the advice you need regarding setting up a gaming pc as I am not up on the latest games and their requirements. I can however tell you that the free delivery promotion has been running for about 6 months, so I don't think it will end tomorrow.

Well on paper it looks like a better gaming spec than the XPS 420, only without the extras like media card reader and rubber mat. :-)

Now if Dell could just add the new quad core CPUs to the 420. :-P
