Hi, as far as I can see the only difference, as you say, is that you cannot return the product within 7 days.

To be honest I have never had to return anything on warranty so I am not 100% sure if there would be a problem or not.

Nowhere does it say you have to be a registered business or a limited company, so I personally would go for it. However I would not want to be responsible for giving you the advice to go ahead and buy, then you had problems and couldn't claim on the warranty. (Think I had better remove the FAQ

)

If you are worried about it I would advise you to find something in the Home/Home Office section of the Dell website, there are some deals on the Inspiron 6000, 630m and 9300, and this evening they announced a further 5% discount (excluding the Inspiron 6000 and Inspiron 1300).
